Huntington Beach, Surf City U.S.A., August 1996. Stephen was there hyping the Rhino Cowabunga! surf music boxed set and hanging out with Cowabunga artist, world-champ surfer and SKP hero Corky Carroll in the press booth. Later, when six-time world women's champ Lisa Andersen signed autographs for a lineup of fans, she took a few minutes to talk with that guy from Rhino. Cowabunga, baby. It was near the end of Lisa's reign; Layne Beachley, also competing that afternoon, began her streak soon after.
