Gallery 2: Edward T. Peeples' 90th Birthday Celebration, Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005

Family and friends from far and near converged in Albuquerque to celebrate Ed's big Nine-Oh with their brother, cousin, sons, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, close family friends, longtime military buddies, banking buddies, church fellows, golf and poker buddies, and all their wives, husbands and families...well, it just goes on!

So many people from so many walks have been touched by this one man, now the patriarch of the Peeples family.

Adding to the event's rarification was the view from the top-floor Petroleum Club in downtown ABQ, on a blazingly sunny day. Later, for dinner at Gorduño's near Ed's in Rio Rancho with la familia, El Pancho Eduardo del Gente made a surprise appearance in his flamboyant purple sombrero.

At both events, some family members snapped pics like they hadn't seen each other for years, which was often the case. This is my little batch.
